The ODA will be making its now familiar appearance at the Parkgate Proms to bring you a wonderful selection of music from Stage and Screen that embraces cinema, television and musical theatre. The overture – Curtain Up – that includes Show Business, A Chorus Line and Phantom of the Opera gets the show off to a thrilling start giving you a taste of what is in store. LOUISE DICKINSON studied classical singing at Lancaster University, from where she graduated with a First Class recital mark. She has sung with a number of prestigious choirs and was recently invited to sing in the Huddersfield Mrs Sunderland Festival’s Gala concert, after winning a number of classes during the festival, including the overall adult vocal challenge. Louise is also an accomplished violinist, playing with a number of local orchestras, including Orchestra dell’Arte.
Louise enjoys singing works from a variety of different genres including opera, jazz and the musicals and playing chamber music at events with her husband Tom, with whom she formed Hillcrest Music.
