  • Kreutzer – Septet

Kreutzer’s Septet dates from 1822 and shares the same key, E flat, as well as the same instrumentation as our recently performed Beethoven Septet. The order of the movements is also similar. However the character of the work is considerably different. It is a product of the early romantic era whereas Beethoven’s is entirely classical in style. See which you prefer.
