L'Orchestra dell'Arte - bringing live music closer to you

Festive Fun!

Come and “jingle your bells, roast some chestnuts and ride on a one-horse sleigh”

Edward Peak and his Orchestra will be musically getting the Festive Season off to a great start on Sunday 12th December at 4pm.

Edward has chosen a great programme with popular items, some classics and, just maybe, a surprise or two. The Orchestra will be joined by performers from the Performance Theatre School Choir from Liverpool, all hoping to be the stars of tomorrow. Heswall Hall will truly resound to music, song and jingling bells: Do come, bring your children to hear the Snowman, some Disney tunes, your classical favourites and many, many more.

Edward’s concerts have delighted audiences in Wirral and Liverpool for many years, now they are here in Heswall. Whether you are a regular concert-goer or fancy trying something different you won’t be disappointed by the dell’Arte series of concerts. Having spent 30 years with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra as conductor, arranger and bassist, Edward is well-known to audiences around the UK for communicating his love of all things musical to his listeners. His concert series, bringing high quality, live performances to Heswall and West Wirral, is establishing a professional approach to local music making without the need for audiences to travel too far. There is plenty of good parking near Heswall Hall and many cafe and restaurant venues are almost on the doorstep.

Remember: 4pm, Heswall Hall, Sunday 12th December. Tickets are available through Linghams Booksellers, Heswall but are disappearing quickly (£15 adult, £10 child aged 10 or under). You can also telephone 0151 336 3618.

Opening Concert at Heswall

Drew

Dewi Tudor-Jones entranced the audience with his wonderful performance of the Bruch violin concerto as part of L’Orchestra dell’Arte’s opening concert in Heswall. His youthful talent and inherent love of the music was easily recognised by all present and there were many requests for him to return again soon.

But next, our thoughts turn to the approach of Christmas when the Orchestra with their Director, Edward Peak, will be in Heswall Hall on Sunday 12th December to bring you some Festive Fun, with a programme designed as Music Around Christmas. The concert starting time is 4pm, giving the opportunity for lunch with friends or family beforehand or maybe a post-concert dinner party as a very sociable start to the Christmas season.
