Lunchtime at the Atkinson

On the first Monday of the month Orchestra dell’Arte and guests present a short lunchtime concert at The Atkinson on Lord Street, Southport – cake and coffee served from 12.30pm music commences at 1.00pm. So why not take a short break for some easy listening over a cup of tea or coffee?

A solo harp recital by Jess Hughes, featuring works by Jacques Ibert, Caroline Lizotte and Marcel Tournier.

  • Perello Duo: guitar and vibraphone

Perello Duo comprises Mike Hughes, vibraphonist, and Eleanor Kelly, classical guitarist, a unique duo performing to great acclaim throughout the UK. Their programme will feature delicious arrangements of music by Erik Satie, Laurie Randolph, Carmen Guzmán, and more.

With Nick Hardy (tenor) & Joseph Hardy (accordion). Nick takes time off from ROH Chorus and Joseph joins us from London’s West End where he has been playing in Cabaret – Kit-Kat Club.

The famous Clarinet Quintet will be paired with Schubert’s “Rosamunde” Quartet for Strings.

  • Music for the Coffee House

A cornucopia of turn-of-the-20th -century delights, played and sung in the style of that period.
